Elkhart High School was created in 2020 with the merger of Elkhart Central High School and Elkhart Memorial High School. Elkhart Memorial High School was an ISSMA Class A Semi-State Finalist in 2014, 2015, 2016 and received the ISSMA All-Music Award for the 2016-17 school year. Elkhart Central High School was also awarded the ISSMA All-Music Band Award for the following school years:
